Club Q Update #85 - The Celtic Blues

Here’s a song we’ve been playing live for quite some time now, and we recorded it in a demo-session last year.

Musically, how I interpret it is a Celtic Hoochie Coochie Man. It’s in 6/8 time which lends that Celtic lilt, and putting the vocal in the gaps after the riff remind me of that call-and-response thing that the blues is really based on

Lyrically, it’s kind of about self doubt and overcoming it. You may have noticed that it’s something I definitely struggle with.
