Club Q Update #84 - I Am The Highway

Today marks the one year anniversary of losing my wife’s uncle unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident.

Thom was a pretty amazing guy. I remember first meeting him, and despite his initial outward appearance of a biker tough-guy, he was gentle, kind, funny, and immediately welcomed me into the fold. I'm lucky to have Amber’s family be the wonderful people they they are, what a great bunch to have married into.

Thom was a big music fan, and loved Chris Cornell. This song has kind of become Thom’s anthem since we lost him, and I wanted to try and sing it today in tribute.

We all miss the hell out of Thom, but today, and each day that follows, we celebrate the lives of those we’ve lost. We were damn lucky to have them at all.

Here’s to the good ones, and he was one of the absolute best. We love you ‘Olo’ Thom.
