Welcome to my new website, here you’ll find regular updates on tour dates, what I’ve been up to, and all sorts of stuff! Have a poke around and see what you find, go on - knock yourself out.
So, what have I been up to? Well I am writing this from my little cottage in Los Angeles where I have been seriously busy. It’s been an incredible start to 2009 for me, and I guess it has to start with recording my new album with one of my all time hero’s Peter Frampton. Peter is not only one of the most incredible singer/songwriter/guitar virtuoso’s the world has seen, but the nicest guy you could wish to work with. The new album has also seen some amazing musicians lay down there parts, Fritz Lewar and Kevin McCormick took Drum and Bass duties while on break from their usual gig as Jackson Browne’s rhythm section, while the incredible Benmont Tench from Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers added some amazing Hammond Organ and Wurlitzer keyboards. The wonderful Christine Collister and Christy DeHaven sang their hearts out and did some backing vocals for me, and of course Mr. Frampton might have made an appearance or two… I have never been as excited about music as I am now! To top it all off, I have been lucky enough to have the genius that is Bob Clearmountain mix the album! Oh man, I’m going to have to sit down and rest for second! I must tell you about an amazing project I was lucky enough to be asked to do. Those of you who haven’t heard of Jonatha Brooke must go out and give her a listen! She and Bob Clearmountain invited me over to Bob’s studio and let me play and sing on an amazing song penned by Jonatha called “Taste Of Danger”, very excited about this one – a wonderful song and our singing seems to really work together. Look out for more updates on when this will be released.

Davy,Just got done seeing you with Jeff Beck in Philadelphia.This was the 5th time enjoying your music.
My son saw you in Chicago seems like a couple of years ago in some hotel and turned me on to the band.I love the blues and instantly became your biggest fan.I love your style and your excellent taste in older material(Rory,Jimi,CSN&Y,Hiatt)Just read something about you & Jonatha Brooke Excellent.Keep up the great Blues you play.Come back to WXPN with the new band.I was glad you hooked up with Warren,He is a great guy.Brad
