Davy’s home!
Davy will be performing a one off gig at THE GARDEN PARTY festival this weekend. Backed by British Blues Award nominees Simon Campbell and the Very, Very Bad Men, with fellow Manxies Christine Collister, Anna Goldsmith and Christy DeHaven on backing vocals, with several other special guest appearances, this is set to be a gig not to miss.
Davy will also be catching up with his NASA friends Chris Stott and his wife, Astronaut Nicole, who are guests at the Isle of Man’s National Holiday celebrations for Tynwald (the world’s longest continuously running Parliament). Nicole is on the Island along with the entire Discovery shuttle crew from the ship’s last ever voyage into space. She took a copy of ‘Coming Up For Air’ with her on the flight, and Davy recorded a special ‘wake up song’ for her mission.

Darn, I missed it. I was going to the event when I got a call that my grandmother got into an accident. So I drive myself to the hospital instead. But it is okay at least my grandmother is now okay.

Glad to have you back in the Great Midwest, hope the visit home went well. I also hope the lack of gigs is due to a NEW ALBUM (please, please, please) in the works…and a tour in support would be welcome…see you soon ???
