Davy in UK press - & added to BBC R2 playlist

We’ve just heard Davy’s song ‘Coming Up for Air’ has been added to the BBC Radio 2 playlist! Check it out by clicking this link (image will open in pop up window):

Now just to see it rise to the A-List…
There are two great features about Davy and the band to run in the UK press - a full page spread on page 29 of today’s Sunday Times Culture magazine, and also a feature in the December edition of “Classic Rock” magazine. The Blues are the roots and all other music is the fruits! (Willie Dixon) Davy and BDS definitely have the roots and also are producing some fine fruits! Gotta group of Blues Buddies coming to see you at Birdys in Indy. We gonna pitch a Wang Dang Doodle for you all night long! Thanks for the great music!

If I didn’t know his dad I’d say he was Eric Clapton’s and Peter Green’s love child. What a player and what a voice!

Looking forward to the show this Friday in Indy. If you have room, how about a little “RedHouse” and/or “Hear Me Lord”? My humble opinion is that you guys do both of these better than the original (sorry George; sorry Jimi).

shame he didnt mention in this interview that most of the 400 gigs in 2 years were with a different band, that davy knowles AND back door slam are totally different to who played those gigs that gave him a legs up in what hes doing now, those he dropped in january 2009 without a moments thought. he has to remember their are those out there who know what really happened
